The Lynda Kitchikeesic Legacy Scholarship Fund

In celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Flotilla for Friendship, we are proud to announce the creation of the Lynda Kitchikeesic Legacy Scholarship Fund, established in memory of Flotilla founder Lynda Kitchikeesic.
The fund will support First Nations, Inuit and Métis youth pursuing postsecondary education and help remove financial barriers as they pursue their goals.
$25,000 for 25 Years
We are inviting community members, organizations, and partners to help establish the inaugural scholarship fund.
The Scholarship
Once the inaugural fundraising goal is reached, scholarship opportunities will be opened to Indigenous youth pursuing recognized postsecondary education in Canada.
Award amounts, application dates, and the number of scholarships available will be announced following the establishment of the fund.
